Scope
This policy explains how Nexlin.ai Ltd. (“Nexlin AI”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information when you visit nexlin.ai, request a sample pack, or otherwise contact us.
It does not cover datasets or environments we deliver to customers. Those are governed by the agreement with each customer, together with the rights memo that ships with every delivery.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you request a sample pack, we collect your name, work email, organization, role, the data families you select and anything you choose to tell us about what you are training. If you email us or speak with us, we keep the correspondence and the business contact details it contains.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of each request. We use these logs to keep the site running and secure.
We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking, and we do not currently use analytics cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
How we use information
- To reply to your request and send a relevant sample pack and dataset overview.
- To scope, propose and deliver an engagement if you decide to work with us.
- To follow up on your request. You can ask us to stop at any time.
- To operate, secure and improve the website.
- To meet legal, accounting and compliance obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to train models.
Legal bases (EEA and UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and running a secure website; on steps you ask us to take before entering a contract; on your consent, where we ask for it; and on legal obligations we must meet.
Retention
We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to respond and follow up. If an enquiry does not lead to an engagement, we delete or anonymize it within 24 months. Customer records are kept for the life of the relationship and as long afterwards as law or contract requires.
International transfers
We process information in Hong Kong. Our service providers, such as form processing and website hosting, may process it in other countries, including the United States. Where personal information leaves the EEA or the UK, we use recognised safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK addendum.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time.
To use any of these rights, email team@nexlin.ai. We will respond within the time the law requires. If you are in the EEA or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Children
This website is for business audiences and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Other websites
Our site links to third-party services such as LinkedIn. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will give more prominent notice.
